Anxious wait for multi-million-pound investment and huge levelling up opportunity for Bolton

Bolton anxiously awaits the determination on revised plans to restore and redevelop Hulton Park scheme after Bolton Council’s Planning Committee voted to defer consideration of Peel L&P’s proposals in January.

The selection of Hulton Park as the venue for the 2031 or 2035 Ryder Cup is now a very realistic prospect. We sincerely hope that Bolton Council will seize this once-in-a-generation opportunity and support our efforts to bring this prestigious event - and all the benefits that flow from it - to Bolton.
