“Covid-19 brings unprecedented and challenging times for everyone and the health and safety of our people, our partners and our contractors is paramount.
“For now, work continues across our sites and contractors are working in line with Government advice and social distancing.
“We understand the importance of keeping the country’s economy going during this period of uncertainty and we will continue to work with our partners and contractors to support the Government in whatever way we can.
“We continue to monitor the Government’s advice carefully and will review our activity on-site accordingly.”

Manchester Waters includes the regeneration of a former 26 acre brownfield dockland site, located between Manchester City Centre, Salford Quays and MediaCityUK.
Allocated as a strategic location within Trafford Council’s local plan and earmarked for development, Manchester Waters is one of the last remaining large scale regeneration opportunities located close to the heart of the City Centre, and benefits from extensive waterfront views neighbouring the world renowned Manchester Ship Canal and two metrolink stations.
The Pomona Island Masterplan and Cornbrook Hub Regeneration Framework, approved by both Manchester City Council and Trafford Council, have set out the development design guidance for this site.
Development activity has already commenced at Manchester Waters in three locations: Pomona Wharf by Rowlinson, the X1 development at Pomona Strand/Pomona Metro station and the Glenbrook PRS development backed by Barings at Cornbrook Hub/Metro station.
