Northstone launches public consultations into new family homes in Bolton and Ellesmere Port
Housebuilder Northstone, part of Peel L&P, has launched public consultations into proposals for new energy-efficient family homes in Bolton and Ellesmere Port.
Plans include up to 220 new energy-efficient family homes at its site at Rossfield Park, Ellesmere Port and separate proposals for up to 117 homes at Garnet Fold in Bolton.
Rossfield Park, a former industrial site, has been the subject of major regeneration spearheaded by Peel L&P over the past few years. The area has seen over 300 homes delivered by other major housebuilders including Persimmon and Anwyl Homes. Northstone’s plans now represent the final piece in the puzzle.
Land at Garnet Fold, located off St Helens Road (A579), is allocated for residential development in Bolton Council’s adopted Local Plan. The plans will include a mix of housing types and sizes to suit the needs and requirements of local people, including first time buyers, families and those looking to downsize to a smaller property.
The Garnet Fold public consultation runs from Tuesday 11 August to Tuesday 25 August.
The public consultation for Rossfield Park runs from Wednesday 12 August to Wednesday 26 August.
