Northstone unveils virtual tour of its first homes in Bolton
New images, including a 360° virtual tour of a new 150-home development planned for Bolton, have been unveiled by place maker and homebuilder Northstone.
The visuals take an immersive look at Northstone’s first scheme proposed for Westhoughton called Roscoe’s with street views and options to ‘walk’ around the development and step inside the homes.
Northstone, part of Peel L&P, has plans to build 150 homes at the former Roscoe’s Farm site off Bolton Road, with planning consent for the first 19 houses granted in July.
The new designs show a pedestrian-led scheme to help reduce traffic speeds with public spaces throughout to create safer places for children to play and a stronger sense of community.
Viewers can also step inside the proposed homes to see kitchen, lounge and bedroom interiors.
Roscoe’s will provide a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes to meet local housing needs with homes ideally suitable for young couples, families and downsizers.
Northstone’s homes focus on design simplicity and innovation to make the best use of space for modern, vibrant living and energy saving technology to significantly reduce residents’ energy bills.
The virtual tour also shows the mature landscaping that will feature through the development as well as gardens and driveways.
Richard O’Brien, Design Director at Northstone, part of Peel L&P, said: “Our passion is to create stylish and exceptional places led by design and sustainability to help improve people’s lives and we hope these new visuals will help to really show people the benefits of living in a Northstone home.”
The new artist impressions have been designed by Our Studio.
A planning application for the remainder of the 131 homes at Roscoe’s was submitted to Bolton Council in July.
Homes are due to start on site this autumn with completion due around April 2020.
