Plastic Free July: choose to refuse

Plastic Free July® is a global movement that helps millions of people become part of the solution to plastic pollution so we can have cleaner streets, oceans, and beautiful communities.

As we near the end of Plastic Free July, we want to continue the conversation around refusing single-use plastics and what we at Peel L&P are doing to help contribute to a greener, cleaner world.

Take a look at Peel L&P’s innovative work to help tackle plastic pollution here including UK’s first Plastic Park at Protos in Cheshire, Peel NRE’s collaboration with Plastic Free Mersey to protect the future of waterways, and staying hydrated and plastic-free with Sipple Hydration Stations located at Gloucester Quays and Quayside MediaCity.

How can you play your part in creating a greener, cleaner world?

Continue to be inspired by the Plastic Free July movement and make this month-long challenge into a forever habit. By making a small positive change to the way you go about your daily life, you are making a huge difference to reducing plastic waste within your local community.

Swap liquid soap for bar soaps, use a takeaway coffee cup, find plastic-free alternatives when buying fruit and veg, use re-usable shopping bags – and so much more.

It’s so easy, yet so impactful.
