There are some great events and workshops to enjoy at the garden from January to March 2023.

Houseplant Weekend

Join the RHS for Bridgewater's first Houseplant Weekend. This two-day extravaganza will give you the knowledge and expertise to turn your interest in houseplants into a hobby! From talks by houseplant expert Joe Bagley, workshops, drop-in clinics and great shopping opportunities – it’s the perfect January pick-me-up; you might not be ready to venture out into the garden, so why not bring the garden inside?

Normal garden admission applies.

February half term fun: World On Your Windowsill

Lots of fun family activities for the school holidays, all about the wonderful world of houseplants and things you can grow indoors. Enjoy storytelling, craft and planting workshops and explore with the Garden Detectives.

Courses & workshops

Enjoy a variety of accessible workshops for all skill levels. Whether you want to learn something new, strengthen your horticultural skills and knowledge or improve your wellbeing through creative activities, there is something to inspire you. All sessions will be delivered by skilled tutors in small groups to allow participants the time and space to fully enjoy and engage in the subject or activity. There will also be the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the amazing team behind the beautiful spaces in the garden.
