Global lifestyle brand, Ted Baker has revealed it will open a new outlet store at Lifestyle Outlets’ Gloucester Quays later this year. The store will carry the British brand’s menswear, womenswear and accessory collections, including sunglasses, jewellery, and footwear. In keeping with its iconic design-led stores, Ted Baker will adopt a bespoke design, taking 204.4 sq. m (2,200 sq. ft) of floor space.
Ted Baker will join recent signings Levi’s, Skechers, Original Penguin and Phase Eight plus a host of leading brands at the waterfront shopping, leisure and entertainment destination. These include All Saints, Crew Clothing, Calvin Klein, Fat Face, Jaeger, Asics, Onitsuka Tiger, The North Face and Clarks Outlet, plus the shopping outlet is anchored by Next, Gap, M&S Outlet and Nike.

Gloucester Quays recently reported an increase in total sales by 19 per cent like for like over the festive season and significant growth across all retail categories.
Ted Baker was founded in Glasgow in 1988 by the CEO Ray Kelvin. The brand has grown from a single store shirt specialist, to the global lifestyle brand it is today; operating 135 stores, 297 concessions producing a turnover of £456 million globally. The brand operates within the UK and Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia and Australia through a network of own stores, concessions and licensed partners.

Lifestyle Outlets has reported a record year with sales at an all-time high at its two outlets – Gloucester Quays and Lowry Outlet MediaCityUK Manchester. 2016 resulted in a huge 14% overall increase in sales YOY and 10 new store openings across both sites. Strongest performing categories included Footwear, with a 41% rise across the two centres, including strong sales at Clarks Outlet, Skechers and Trickers and Mixed Fashion, which was up 23%, with record sales at All Saints, Jaeger, Calvin Klein, Gap and Tessuti. Outdoor and Sport saw a 20% sales increase, with strong sales performances from Nike, Asics, Gloucester Rugby and Regatta.
