As many as 600 individuals came together from across the region’s property, corporate and creative sectors to take part in MediaCityUK’s first Urban Challenge event powered by JLL.
Teams from Peel Land and Property and Peel Media rose to the challenge alongside businesses including JLL, Chapman Taylor, Kelloggs and Bouygues UK to tackle a unique obstacle course spanning land and water in and around dock 9.
Participants could either complete a 3k or 6k version of the course which featured 25 obstacles, including monkey bars, a ninja wall, cargo net climbs as well as a giant water slide which culminated in teams being catapulted into the clean waters of dock 9.
Stephen Wild, Managing Director of MediaCityUK said: “It was a fantastic event which brought over 100 different businesses together in a way that was fun and engaging. It worked well for all abilities and proved to be a great team building event which will also give a boost to our nominated charity The Tim Bacon Foundation.”
