One the last remaining large scale regeneration opportunities close to Manchester.
Manchester Waters is the regeneration of a former 26 acre brownfield dockland site, located between Manchester City Centre, Salford Quays and MediaCityUK.
Allocated as a strategic location within Trafford Council’s local plan and earmarked for development, Manchester Waters is one of the last remaining large scale regeneration opportunities located close to the heart of the city centre, and benefits from extensive waterfront views neighbouring the world renowned Manchester Ship Canal and two Metrolink stations.
The Pomona Island Masterplan and Cornbrook Hub Regeneration Framework, approved by both Manchester City Council and Trafford Council, have set out the development design guidance for this site.
Development activity has already commenced at Manchester Waters in three locations: Pomona Wharf by Rowlinson, the X1 development a stunning development boasting 546 apartments on a prime double-fronted waterside location at Pomona Strand/Pomona Metro station and the Glenbrook PRS development backed by Barings at Cornbrook Hub/Metro station.
