Wirral Waters is one of the largest and most exciting regeneration projects in the UK.

The 500-acre site is part of a wider 30-year strategy to transform the Left Bank of the River Mersey into an international recognisable destination.

The site will be regenerated into a sustainable location for local and international businesses, creating more than 20,000 permanent jobs for the Liverpool City Region, as well as offering new housing opportunities.

The Wirral Waters masterplan was created by world-class urban designers to create a mixed-use, high density, highly sustainable project that will elevate and regenerate the are to the benefit of its exciting community.

It is supported by central government and was designated Enterprise Zone status in 2011 – one of the first four Enterprise Zones in the UK and known as the Mersey Waters Enterprise Zone.
